Century21:
21Online

One of the most recognizable names in the real estate brokerage industry, Century 21 has helped brokers, entrepreneurs, and agents in over 8,000 independently owned and operated franchises buy and sell property across 80 countries and territories.

The problem

Century 21 underwent a complete rebrand, meant to exude a sense of modern, iconic style. The actual online tools available for real estate brokers however were clunky and unintuitive. Based on internal surveys conducted by the client, new and inexperienced brokers felt overwhelmed and felt they had no guidance in following up and talking to prospective buyers and sellers. Because the tools had gone untouched for so long, brokers were overwhelmingly using only the desktop version of the site as the mobile version was completely unoptimized. This left brokers unable to quickly access their tools when on the go and away from any sort of desktop or laptop computer.

My role

I worked as a designer on this project at MullenLowe Profero. Taking three months to complete, this project involved working together with one design director, one account director, and one project manager.

Creating a system

Leveraging the visual cues that were created for the Century 21 rebrand, we established a cohesive digital environment that felt in line with . Utilizing a card format, we created a system that displays information uniformly and consistently, whether it's simply text or a variety of imagery, information, and infographics.

Putting it all together

Working closely with the client, we standardized our design system and created components for each section that can be adapted and reused throughout the dashboard. These all work in tandem to create a truly engaging and elegant experience.
